When Joseph Meyer founded Indiana Botanic Gardens in 1910, he was a pioneer in the natural health movement. He firmly believed that you could lead a healthier, happier life with teas, tonics and herbs found in nature. And to make sure everyone had access to high quality natural products he kept prices low and made them available not only to catalog customers, but to customers in the surrounding neighborhood as well.

What began as a small retail store in Hammond, Indiana selling fresh herbs, teas and spices today has grown into an 896 square foot store that sells a complete line of proprietary nutritional supplements, vitamins, homeopathic remedies, beauty care and more.

Every year more than 15,000 customers visit the Botanic Choice Outlet located at 3401 West 37th Ave., Hobart, IN. Besides great deals on high quality products, customers also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and personalized, friendly service. Many linger over a free cup of tea while reading through the wide range herbal books and health magazines that are available.
