Syringa vulgaris
- A springtime remembrance
- A feminine, delicate scent
- External use only
A small to medium sized shrub, the lilac bush has light purple, dark purple or white flowers. It's often used as a natural screen or hedgerow and is a gardener's favorite for its distinctive aroma. Because the lilac season is so short, its oil is hard to extract, making it very difficult to find it in an essential oil. But we have it right here!
For Aromatherapy - This feminine scent is ideal for dabbing on wrists (especially brides), freshening a room, creating a sachet or custom made potpourri. It is found in the most exclusive bath products, soaps and lotions.
Oils are highly concentrated, therefore use 2-3 drops per application.
