What are the benefits of Organic Asian Green Tea?
- Classic tea that's stood the test of time
- Tastes great hot or cold
- Perfect after meals...or any time of day
- Customize to your preferred strength
Part Used - Dried leaves
Description - Green, black, white and oolong tea all come from the same source: the camellia sinensis plant. What differentiates them is how the leaves are processed. White tea, the least processed, is produced from tea leaf buds. Green tea leaves are picked early and preserved through steaming or baking to prevent them from fermenting. Oolong and black tea leaves are picked and exposed to the air for a certain period of time to ferment. Oolong is partially fermented and black tea is completely fermented. Because green tea is picked early, it maintains its natural healthy qualities and gives it a delicious flavor.
Suggested Use - One or two cups daily. Store green tea in a cool, dry dark place in a tin or dark container. Do not store in the refrigerator.
