Here are some tips to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tackle tasks<\/strong> you\u2019ve been putting off. Paint a room or\nclean out drawers and closets. Toss or box up items to donate.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reach out<\/strong> to someone you haven\u2019t heard from to\nrekindle your friendship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Take an online course<\/strong>. With time on your hands, brush\nup on your skills or explore topics of interest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stream and binge watch.<\/strong> Catch up on all the latest\nshows you haven\u2019t had time to see. Just make sure you balance it with some\nphysical activity too! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Keep a routine<\/strong>. Whether working from home or not at\nall, keeping your regular schedule adds structure and normalcy to your day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do an online workout.<\/strong> There are thousands of fitness\nroutines on YouTube for varying ages and abilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Get outside<\/strong>. It\u2019s still ok to go outside as long as\nyou maintain your social distance. Let nature keep you relaxed and grounded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read a book<\/strong>. If you\u2019re like lots of people, you\u2019ve\ngot books in the house you never finished. Now\u2019s the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stay healthy.<\/strong> Eat well-balanced meals, get plenty of rest, and be sure to keep up with your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.botanicchoice.com\/vitamins\">daily vitamins and supplements<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout this outbreak, keep in mind that by staying home you\u2019re helping to stop the spread and save lives. Use the free time and hang in there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><code>&nbsp;<\/code>During the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we\u2019re asking you to, where possible, avoid contact with people who don\u2019t live in your household. This will prevent the spread of germs, help stop people from getting sick and it will save lives. We expect this to be hard &#8211; it\u2019s hard for all of us. But it\u2019s the right thing to do at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also know that feeling socially isolated can impact your mental\nwellbeing. It can make people feel sad, anxious, lonely and depressed. We want\nto make sure that during this time, you have ways to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mentalwellbeing.initiatives.qld.gov.au\/connect-more\">stay\nconnected<\/a>&nbsp;to your family, friends and community, even if you can\u2019t see\nthem in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are some suggestions for different ways Queenslanders can\nstick together during this time, even when they\u2019re far apart. We want to hear\nyour suggestions, too.
