Loss of vision is the number one fear for many Americans, yet most of us take our eyesight for granted… that is, until there's a problem, but by then it's often too late. Unhealthy eyes can cause a lot of problems – from being unable to read a newspaper or computer to losing your driver's license and complete lack of independence. The time to protect yourself is now, before you experience any vision issues. Sadly, many people miss out on and healthy eyes because they have common misconceptions about their vision. Since March is Save Your Vision Month, let me help you separate fact from fiction.
Myth No. 1. Weakening vision and unhealthy eyes are normal as you age.
