Description - Alfalfa is found growing from Maine to Virginia and westward to the Pacific coast. It is 12 to 18 inches tall and flowers from June until August. The leaflets are obovate-oblong, racemes oblong, pod several-seeded linear, coiled about two turns. The flowers are violet purple or bluish. Our Alfalfa Mint Tea Blend provides essential soothing benefits for over-acidification in the stomach. It aids and promotes the actions of stomach enzymes like pepsin. The addition of mint helps to further settle distressed stomachs and provides a delightful, refreshing flavor.
