Essential oils are extremely concentrated fragrant extracts from blossoms, leaves, or roots. The oils need to be diluted with so-called carrier oils, such as almond, soy, or grape seed. Essential oils should never be ingested as one drop of oil can be equivalent to an ounce or more of whole plant. You can apply essential oils through massage, mixed with water and used as a compress on the skin, added to a bath or diffused into the air and inhaled. You must try these wonderful oils to fully appreciate their benefit.
