Thyme has been used throughout the centuries. The ancient Romans used it to brighten their spirits and even added it to their cheese. During the Middle Ages, it was thought to provide courage. With about 350 species of thyme, it is now grown across the globe, an herb garden favorite. Its name is derived from the Greek, "thymos," meaning perfume and was used as incense in their temples.
For Aromatherapy - Added to a vaporizer or potpourri, Thyme oil aroma can help ease stress. Blends well with lemon, lavender and rosemary. Our Thyme oil is synthetic.
