Expiration, Manufacturing and Best Before Dates

The date on your supplement is either an Expiration date, a Manufacturing date, or a Best Before date.

We’re striving to follow industry standards and guidelines when it comes to shelf life for our products. Over time, our goal will be to have a Best Before date on all our Botanic Choice supplements and Botanic Spa cosmetics, excluding only over-the-counter products, which will always carry an expiration date. During this transition, however, you may receive a product that uses Expiration date or Manufacturing date.

The Expiration date (exp) printed on the label is the last date a product should be ingested. With proper storage, the product will remain fully potent until this date.

The Manufacturing date (mfg) printed on the label is the date the product was produced in compliance with Good Manufacturing (GMP) regulations.

The Best Before date printed on the label is the date recommended that you use the product by for the best quality. It is not an expiration date, but is a date we recommend for use.

Each bottle will only carry one date, either a Manufacturing date (mfg) an Expiration date (exp) or a Best Before date.

There have been no changes to the product, the ingredients or the quality.

All Botanic Choice products are produced by GMP-compliant manufacturers that meet stringent standards for quality and potency. We require all our manufacturers to develop, formulate and produce products that maintain their quality for the given timeframe.

We have a robust testing program in place for all our products which also includes a re-test of products on an as-needed basis.
