Expiration and Manufacturing Dates
The date on your supplement is either an expiration date OR a manufacturing date.
Due to recent rules in compliance with FDA's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations, we changed how we date the labels of Botanic Choice products.
The manufacture date (mfg) printed on the label is the date the product was produced in compliance with Good Manufacturing (GMP) regulations. The expiration date (exp) printed on the label is the last date a product should be ingested. With proper storage, the product will remain fully potent until this date.
Each bottle will only carry one date, either a manufacture date (mfg) or an expiration date (exp).
In most cases, our supplements are considered stable at full potency for a minimum of two years from the manufacture date, including liquid supplements. Our probiotics are generally stable for 18 months.
There have been no changes to the product, the quality or the ingredients.
All Botanic Choice products are produced by GMP-compliant manufacturers that meet stringent standards for quality and potency. We require all our manufacturers to develop, formulate and produce products that maintain their quality for the given timeframe.
We pride ourselves in providing the freshest product possible at the best price. At our state-of-the-art facility in Indiana, we’ve established strict quality control measures and closely monitor our inventory so we can guarantee the product we deliver to you is the best possible. We have a robust testing program in place for all our products which would also include a re-test of products on an as-needed basis. The date change is due to regulations and is not a reflection on our quality.
Please note: The change in product dating applies only to Botanic Choice brand supplements and does not include topical or beauty products (creams, shampoos, gels, lotions, etc.) or food items.
