Supplementing diets with products containing Testofen, and regular resistance exercise, can help men maintain healthy levels of free testosterone that are already with the normal range, which in turn supports multiple bodily functions.

What is Fenugreek?

Native to the Mediterranean, fenugreek (also known as Greek hay or bird’s foot), has been in use since ancient times. In fact, fenugreek was detailed on Egyptian papyrus dating back to 1500 B.C.

An annual plant, fenugreek produces pale green leaves and long pods containing 10 to 20 small, hard, golden-brown seeds. Due to its pungent aroma and flavor, it had many culinary uses, and was even used for dying textiles. One of its most revered uses, however, was as an herbal remedy for good health.

How was Fenugreek Used Historically?

Throughout the ages and in various cultures, fenugreek seeds have been historically valued for women’s health, joint comfort, respiratory, metabolism, libido, and skin health.

What We Know about Fenugreek Today

Modern analysis of fenugreek seeds shows it contains naturally occurring fiber, iron, vitamin C, vitamin A, niacin, potassium, selenium, and many other vitamins and minerals. Other constituents include polysaccharides: saponins, tannin, mucilage, and pectin. In recent times, it’s been studied for its effect on cholesterol, blood sugar, digestion and more. Due to its healthy potential, fenugreek herbal supplements and fenugreek tables are popular with those who want to maintain their good health.

What are these ingredients used for?

What is testosterone?

The naturally occurring hormone, testosterone, is responsible for the development of male sexual characteristics like sex drive, sperm production, bone mass, muscle strength and fat distribution. Women also produce testosterone, but in smaller amounts. In women testosterone contributes to overall sexual health and keeps bones and reproductive system healthy. For both sexes, testosterone production decreases with age. With women it’s immediate with menopause, but with men it’s a more gradual process beginning around the age of 50. Lower levels of testosterone result in low libido, difficulty with erection, low semen volume, decreased bone mass, mood balance and fatigue to name a few.
