How to Make Your Own Hand Sanitizer

While soap and water are best, hand sanitizers are the next best thing to keep clean…but good luck trying to find them! No worries, though. It’s easy enough to make your own. Here’s all you need:

Ingredients:

2/3 c rubbing alcohol
1/3 c aloe vera gel – to counteract the harshness of alcohol
1-2 drops of essential oil for fragrance – try cinnamon, tea tree or lavender

Whisk ingredients together in a bowl until the mixture turns into a gel. Pour into an empty squeeze or pump bottle and enjoy clean hands wherever you go.
